Steakbellie Still Supporting the Square Off
something interesting on Steakbellie's blog. Our friend Eric "Steakbellie" Livingston, the #39 ranked eater in the world, recently finished third at the Broadway at the Beach Eating Tournament. In his pictures Steakbellie has the one on the left. Notice the cup he is using. Yep, it's a Square Off III cup. I am glad to see he's representing the KSO at other contests. Steakbellie, if you need a couple new Square Off cups, let us know. We can't wait to see you & your kilt on this year's tour.Labels: Competitive Eating, Krystal, Krystal Square Off, Steakbellie

I May Have Been Wrong
I'm sure all of you remember friend of the blog Jason Jennette (the Krystal Kid), Inductee #0022. He is a pioneer among Hall of Famers, as he was the first to have his own website. Jason blogged his Hall of Fame experience and continues his Krystal Blog to this day. If you haven't already done so, you should definitely check his blog out. Go ahead, we'll wait on you.
The 2007 induction class has several members who are famous on the internet. Jeff Carlisi of 38 Special fame, obviously is all over the web. The guys at Night Vision Entertainment made their name on the web. Kevin Lassiter and the Corsairs have their own website as well.
Last night we added another web star to the ranks of the Krystal Lovers Hall of Fame. Justen Collins of Louisville, TN was inducted at our Maryville, TN store last night. I had a lot of fun meeting Justen and his friends and family at the ceremony, and heard a lot of great stories. I also learned that there is a lot more to Justen than just love for Krystal and making Krystal Pizzas.
Justen is better known as Big Daddy Collins, a professional wrestler in the CWE. If you know me,
you know that I am a sucker for local and regional professional wrestling, so I was very excited to find this out about Justen. But I was even more excited to learn that he is also a blogger. His outstanding blog is The Collins Chronicles. It really is a great blog. Where else can you find stories of professional wrestling, Krystal, and elementary school gifted classes all in the same place?
If you are only going to follow one of my suggestions, go to Krystal and buy lots of food. If you are going to follow two suggestions, go to Krystal and also check out The Collins Chronicles. I recommend the Ear Story as a good place to start. It is amazing.
While I am recomending blogs, check out the latest "Humble Thoughts" over at HumbleBob.com. It will give you a great look at the mindset of a competitive eater. Also, he calls the Square Off the "Super Bowl of Competitive Eating" which makes me happy.

OK, so Tiffany is back from the Hall of Fame inductions and been a little swamped with catch-up work. However, I would be a horrible Krystal Lover Coordinator if I didn't mention we were in a great NEW event. Its our annual Cheese promotion with a couple of new cheeses to add to the mix.....Listen go right now and try the Pepper Jack Cheese. But first look at these new commercials....Love the interactive Comic Book element....
