Bear Bryant & Krystal

One of the more interesting "Six degrees of Krystal" that I've seen.....Is that Bear Bryant, one of the most famous College Football Coaches of all time, had a longtime love of Krystal. In fact according to a new book out about him, he conducted strategy sessions at Krystal during his coaching days at Maryland. Before his family had moved he lived in the George Washington Hotel near the college. The Krystal restaurant was located across the street from his hotel. For the first three months he and his Assistant Coach would eat there morning, noon and night.

Also noted was, that if he had time, Coach Bryant would stop somewhere and eat a country breakfast. “On days when he didn’t have time, he’d go for Krystal hamburgers.”
