A Love Letter to Mega Munch

You know its going to be a good week when the VP of Marketing comes to your cubicle and asks why he is quoted on the blogosphere telling Nathans to "Suck It." Now, I completely understand why I am the person they go to (This is Tiffany writing). I am the one who convinced the Company to allow a blog by us Coordinators, I am the one who touted the benefits of joining the blogosphere (besides the fact that it is a cool way to waste time) and yes, I am the one who is ultimately responsible for anything that may go awry.

Recently, the Mega Munch blog was awesome enough to report on the fact that the Krystal Square Off is the coolest competitive eating competition ever by being the first to offer a webcast NOT ONLY for the Krystal Square Off Eating Championship on October 28th in Chattanooga, TN; but for the entire Qualifying Round which starts a week from today (Located in, You guessed it! Chattanooga, TN)

Now liberties may have been taken in Mega Munch's attempt to point out that we are indeed the first to do this. (I thought his liberties were, in fact, HILARIOUS) But for those of you who have zero sense of irony. The words "Suck it, Nathans!" did not pass from Mike Williams' lips. (He would at least like to keep up the facade of professionalism, rather than let everyone know the truth.)

Now hopefully my career can live to see another day of marketing small square burgers.

As a member of the KLHOF am I allowed to say "Suck it, Nathans?"

Frank-ly (pun intended) I have never had a Nathans dog. So I cannot comment one their taste or quality.

I just find it funny that someone has brought the Jerry Springer revolution to the work of competitive eating blogging.

Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!

Wow! I am really, really (really!)sorry if I got you in some hot water with the boss. I definitely didn't mean to.

It's ironic, because we're both in the same positions professionally. I work in an advertising agency (where marketing folk like Mike Williams are known as "suits") and I'm also the resident "blog expert." I recently convinced the agency and a client to start blogging.

So I know how you feel...or at least I will after our blogs launch and other people like me start saying crazy things online.

Looking forward to watching (and blogging about) all the great Krystal Square Off coverage!
